A Christmas Shoot

Finished another amazing shoot the other day and felt exhausted afterwards, consider I haven't done a big fashion shoot for while. However, having said that, it still feels extremely good once the photos appear on a computer screen. Thanks for the great performance of an amazing model - Masha, the shoot wouldn't go well without you :)

2012 is clearly a year of Great Britain. The jubilee of the Queen, the Olympic games, everyone is talking about Britain including fashionistas. I have seen many photo shoots and features about British fashion in Hong Kong publication. This time, the fashion bible of  the UK - Vogue UK has featured 8 well-known fashion designers from Britain including Christopher Bailey for Burberry, Victoria Beckham, Erdem Moralioglu, Jonathan Saunders, Christopher Kane, Stephen Jones, Paul Smith and Vivienne Westwood. Following what they do in their studio and talk about British fashion, It is an issue that I am looking forward to read.

Quoting the movie "The September Issue", "September is like January in Fashion", now you know how important a September issue is in any fashion magazines in this globe. The year September issue (also a 120 year anniversary issue) of US Vogue, Lady Gaga transformed into a serene and elegant lady in Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen... along with other major runway pieces. It is a different Lady Gaga that we have never seen before.

It is quite an amazing photo shoot done by Greg Kadel for Numero.All the style and clothes are absolutely high fashion. That Balmain pearl-embellished dress is quite pretty though. Olivier Rousteing seriously did a good collection for Balmain.

I guess when you love something so much, you wouldn't just let it go of the handle bar. Carine Roitfeld sure won't let her beloved fashion just go away. After announcing a fashion magazine will be published by the very own Carine Roitfeld herself months ago, a first image of the magazine has just unveiled and turn out to be super stylish as predicted. It sure is my number one item on my September shopping list.

Married a spicy girl (or should I say an up and coming fashion designer now), having 4 kids and still plays a bit in a football field. This all time favourite Brit is energetic and incredibly handsome. Allure the camera with a cool grey and denim - that's how a handsome guy makes simple clothes look extraordinary.
