Stefano Pilati joins Ermenegildo Zegna

Stefano Pilati left Yves Saint Laurent in March this year, since then rumors fly all over the fashion world. Where will he go? What is he going to do? Does he leave YSL in bad terms? Now the official statement has released and confirmed that Italian fashion designer Mr. Stefano Pilati is going to join Ermenegildo Zegna Group, overseeing both Ermenegildo Zegna and Agnona. Personally I am not a fan of these two brand, but, perhaps, with Stefano's fairy dust. Those collection would be spectacular. Stay tuned and we will see.

I guess when you love something so much, you wouldn't just let it go of the handle bar. Carine Roitfeld sure won't let her beloved fashion just go away. After announcing a fashion magazine will be published by the very own Carine Roitfeld herself months ago, a first image of the magazine has just unveiled and turn out to be super stylish as predicted. It sure is my number one item on my September shopping list.

Another yet exciting news for fashion lovers, Opening Ceremony teams up with Adidas for a special capsule collection celebrating 2012 London Olympic. As you can see Print, Print and Print (adore!!) are the main backbone of the collection. Not sure if the collection available in Hong Kong, but if you are visiting London, be sure to visit the OC store early next month.

Diet coke becomes fashionable again this season because Master Jean Paul Gaultier likes it as a summer drink. Not only translating a feminine design of Gaultier's fashion to the bottle, Gaultier also did a fun photo shoot celebrating a new "it" drink. The result is pretty funny.

After Versace, it is time for another Italian fashion brand --- Marni, it is such a surprising news! Not because it is Marni, but from the behind the scene shots, I could figure the collection will be an incredibly good one. All the rich patterns and accessories are sooo lovely and sooo "Marni"! I am just dying to get some of that Swedish Marni blood in March 2012.

After American hit show "America's Next Top Model" accepted transsexual model, high-end fashion brand - Givenchy uses new hot transsexual Lea. T to be the face of the Fall/Winter campaign. And for the first time, she revealed her male/female body to the whole world on French Vogue.

To be honest, I don't care male or female models as long as they are good at it. And times to times, we see gender in Fashion becomes vaguer and vaguer. So, gender might be just another label like Gucci or Versace, as long as is good design, who cares?

High Expectation

Sarah Burton, Olivier Theyskens and Christophe Lemaire have taken the role as a designer for Alexander McQueen, Theory and Hermes respectively. We have been seeing lots of designs from Olivier for Nina Ricci and Christophe for Lacoste, and sure they are qualified to take the position. So, now it's time to focus on Sarah and to see how this gorgeous woman could continue the spirit of Lee McQueen while adding her style to the brand. We will grade their assignment in the next season.
