A Christmas Shoot

Finished another amazing shoot the other day and felt exhausted afterwards, consider I haven't done a big fashion shoot for while. However, having said that, it still feels extremely good once the photos appear on a computer screen. Thanks for the great performance of an amazing model - Masha, the shoot wouldn't go well without you :)

After watching this video, "Fashion is uncomfortable" came so true to me. Created by artist Leanie van der Vyver and Dutch shoe designer René van den Berg. It is uncomfortable but interesting, you can't really walk in a normal but a monster way. Think Gaga would love them.

Discovering something new and exciting is definitely a thing that make me happy, from finding a cozy vintage shop at the street corner or discovering a new brand in Joyce or Lane Crawford. This time, I found something online.

Six Lee is a "Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp born Hong Konger" With his "fairytale-like" concept in menswear, his collection has a cuteness in it which is rare. I particularly like the way he plays with farbic combination and patterens. His idea to put a violin on a jacket, the knitted blazer and those structured shorts are my favourite. His stuffs is very like Viktor and Rolf, Marni, Band of Outsider all together with Six Lee's unique spirit.I think, someday, this guy would be huge. As always "Time Will Tell Us".

Pro or Con ?

Fur, for or against? It is an endless debate in the fashion industry especially this Fall/Winter consider fur is so "it". Karl Lagerfeld commented "As long as you wear leather and eat meat, don't discuss that." "In a meat-eating world, wearing leather for shoes and even clothes and handbags, the discussion of fur is childish." In some way, it does have its own point.

I guess we could either take his side or Stella McCartney's side (faux fur). Or, worse come to worse, run away from the PETA with your fur coat on looking like Raquel Zimmermann - That will be HOT.

Fashion's Night Out

It seems to be an annual thing for New York City now. Massive models, designers, shoppers gather in the city for a fun fashion night. I wish I could be a part of it.

Another photo shoot with a talented young fashion designer - Christophe Wong. This time took place at a roof top, and the shots turn out very good. The angle from the outfit and the buildings match perfectly together. With the gorgeous models stood steel with the outfits on, they just look like one of the architecture - a fashionable architecture to be exact.

A taste to be a part of a photo shoot

Happened to take part in a fashion photo shoot yesterday. I ,literally, know what is it like to have a massive fashion photo shooting. It's not easy, the whole crew have to deal with the hot weather, the sunlight and all the other elements that would make or break the whole shoot. But it's all worth it once the shots were magically created.

Seth Hutchinson, the talented New York photographer, was the magic hand this time. With his creativity and professional skill. I think this shoot would turn out to be fantastic and hope it would be published very soon.
