Karlie Kloss is definitely rising in the modeling industry. 17-year-old American girl with tons of campaigns ranging from Dior, Hermes to Pringle of Scotland and Chloe. And many many covers from Vogue. She begins to replace the models from the previous generation such as Jessica, Caroline, Coco...... No wonder she has already gotten two major 2010 campaigns in hand and a cover from Italia Vogue.

p.s the cover is so funny. She, obviously, could fall beautifully and fashionably

Every season, Dolce and Gabbana creates amazing ad one after another. There is no exception in 2010. The whole project is like making a movie. All they want to get is a sexy shot like this.

I do think a plus size models are fabulous and deserve to be part of the industry. Just imagine this photo shoots without a plus size model. I am sure it would become flat and boring.

Models.com is doing a "best editorial in 2009". I am doing the same here.

1 st - I found the winning editorial extremely dynamic and modern. Sasha and Freja looked very good together with strong shoulder outfits on which beautified the whole city.

2 nd - Extremely modern editorial. Eniko created different forms and shape with a metallic dresses on which matched the architecture impeccably

3rd - Fun and fun. Steven Meisel grabbed the idea of twittering. Captured famous models with real moment.

Plus Size can be beautiful too. V magazine is doing a size issue to say women is all size and shape can be beautiful and sexy. Look at the first photo, not much difference between a thin model and a plus size model. But one thing for sure - too thin and too fat is not healthy.

Is 2010 now, everything should be new and exciting. That's why I give myself a challenge and doing a project called "1 Wardrobe 100 Days 100 Outfits", inspired by movie "Julie and Julia". Not going to cook this time but style myself into different outfits from my own wardrobe. Everyday, I am going to style myself with a different outfits on. SO!! 100 days, 100 different outfits. We used to say NO! to tattoo in fashion. It seems like things have changed. Having a couple or even full of tattoo on body is becoming more tolerable these days especially for male models. Fashion can't be predictable, it should be surprising and fun just like life. NO RULE SHOULD BE APPLIED!

Models.com is doing a "Best campaign of 2009". My favourite would be Jil Sander S/S 09. Natasha just stood that like a mannequin with beautiful clothes. That's what people want to look like, right?

Inez and Vinoodh are getting bored to only be a photographer. That's why in the latest Lanvin S/S 2010 ad. They transformed to be models/avatar. This ad really impress me as it has its gimmick - turn photographer to be a model.(Tho Terry Richardson has done that millions times) The ad is like a human being fall in love with an avatar with beautiful clothes and body print. That really impress me the most.

Must watch movie - The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Heath Ledger's Last film. Definitely must-watch movie of the year. Model- Lily Cole plays an important role in this movie. We all know she is skillful on the runway, can she be a actress? I want to find that out.

What a funny thing to do! Seven designers (Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, John Galliano of Dior, Christopher Kane, Donna Karan, Miuccia Prada, and Thakoon Panichgul) answer what we ask. It is no doubt that they receive millions of email everyday, and usually(I assume) detele most of them .But this time they all agree to answer the questions. I have asked, have you? Be original, that's what they want.

Internet, youtube are definitely a new media for fashion. Commercials, fashion shows....all fashion stuffs have been uploaded to youtube. Now, a moving editorial come to youtube with no surprise. Yet, it is (me think) a very good idea to do create a moving magazine.
